AlertG ("we", "us", "our"), operated by CorbanWare, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our IoT alerting service.

What Data We Collect

• Account Information: Email address, name, and hashed password when you create an account.
• Device Data: Telemetry data sent by your IoT devices via MQTT or webhook, including the last payload per device.
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, API call counts, and alert history.
• Payment Information: Processed and stored securely by our payment provider LemonSqueezy. We do not store your credit card details.
• Log Data: IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps for security and debugging purposes.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and maintain the AlertG service, including processing alert rules and delivering notifications.
• To improve our service, analyze usage patterns, and fix bugs.
• To communicate with you about your account, billing, and service updates.
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security threats.

Data Storage

Your data is stored on the following infrastructure:

• Neon PostgreSQL (AWS) for account, device, rule, and alert data.
• Upstash Redis for caching, rate limiting, and real-time state.
• All data is stored in data centers located in the United States and European Union.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• LemonSqueezy: Payment processing and subscription management.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery.
• HiveMQ: Managed MQTT broker for device communication.
• Vercel: Application hosting and edge functions.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Device telemetry history retention depends on your plan (1 day to 1 year). After account deletion, we remove your data within 30 days, except where required by law.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:
